went to baby clinic and got Kian weighed. he's now 11lb 6oz!! woo hoo!! there was a baby there who we thought was ever so small...turns out she was 8lb 6oz amazing how you forget how small they were...
so he's averaging putting on about 7/8oz every week
I took Henry to a breastfeeding group on Monday and he looked huge! It was at the hospital so most of the other babies were brand new but I couldn't get over how old my (then) 5 day old boy looked!
Yay for 11lb 6oz, that is fab!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

I think I need a chocolate fix !!
copied from word but was originally cazs recipe - hence my text to u yday!
i left in fridge for 24hrs and its solid
the recipe! i only made half and we have lots! am thinking of making a full batch for christmas and giving them as presents as they are sooo good!
275(10oz) Dark choc minimum 60% coca solids
250ml(9fl oz) double cream
50g(2oz) unsalted butter at room temp
50g(2oz) cocoa powder
place the chocolate in a large bowl, bring cream to the boil and pour it over the chocolate.
stir gently until all the chocoalte has melted and try not to create bubbles
leave to cool for 2 mins then add the butter in 2 stages.
one the butter has melted the gnache should be smooth and glossy with no oil slicks
set the mixture in the fridge for min 3 hours or overnight
remove from fridge and leave for approx 15mins
put cocoa into a bowl adn dust your hands with it, roll the gnache into balls and roll them into the cocoa
can be stored for approx 2 days(hahaha guess they dont live in my house )A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
