I did that too csh in my old house we took before and after pics !!

Looks like a big kitchen !!

Get you and tara with your shiny houses !! I have a cream kitchen, it never looks that clean !!

It is quite big but unfortunately no room for a table. The shiny doors are a nightmare for fingerprints and grubby bits, takes a lot of cleaning
I do love the kitchen tho, and spend ages in there in the summer with the back door open. I lived in a flat for 8 years so love the fresh air coming in now!
When its nice and clean it almost makes the 8k I paid for it seem worth it

Over the years we have done houses to sell and whilst selling and working full-time with 5 at home the house had to look perfect when I left for work at 7.30am so we got into a routine of everything having a home and always tidying up as you go along. Even Ben at 6 gets all his toys out, plays then at the end of the day automatically tidies them all away, if he's mid-battle he will come and ask before leaving them overnight. The island in the midlle is where they do all their messy stuff, baking, glueing and stuff.

i;ve started to tidy up during the day when sonmething has been used etc and it makes such a difference. means i have lot more time to spend with Kian and then when he's asleep i can come on here :D

To be honest, I think i'm going to be a wreck until Sunday and beyond anyway ;)

Ta! I'll have to go with the girls tomorrow to Tesco then. Got a couple of Nephew/Niece/Children of friends gifts to get, so they can help me choose, before the inevitable slide across to the cake section :D

MOTM, try not to think too much and if you do feel the need to think, let the little moon-man think for a change. :D

hmmmm... life changing.... not really, I'm depressed cos of the dreaded DLA form, DH agreed to let my buy a new buggy for our princess, DS1 is in love with Laura who is his school partner and he doesn'y know why he loves her he just does and she has soft hands and stuff....

IKWYM about the money but very happy to say that clever QS OH got all ours including corian worktops/sink and appliances for 8k. We had some quotes of over 14k so I'm happy(ish), just need the extension now.

Maddy has started moving aroung the floor which is a little surprising. I left the phone quite away from her but she got onto her front then pulled herself around then forward. The grunting had everyone in giggles but she was grit determined. Oh dear, was thinking she wouldn't be mobile for a while!
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
