LO was very well behaved while I was away. MIL did all my washing and ironing - but now I can't find anything as the house has been muddled up - grr and LO seems to have eaten nothing but bananas for two days and not done much sleeping! Her dad seems to have forgotten that he was supervising!!!!

Oh don't you just love it when your well meaning MIL messes all your life around  You should have seen me this morning hunting for the big pack of toilet rolls that I bought the other day....found it in the cupboard in the utility room - the cupboard that she had to take the washing liquid/softener etc out of to fit them in

Having said that, MIL is coming to babysit the boys tomorrow night so hubby and I can go out for dinner so I can't say a word against her ATM :A

dora - what a worry, glad LO is okay. Don't envy your conversations later.

    Boo hiss for big forms.

Yay for food in palms :T

MM - hope it went well today (I didn't miss it did I?)

MacSmiler - sorry to hear about your grandmother, it must be tough for your family.

I'm catching up backwards - bear with me!

Mel Hugs hunny! If you have any look finding a card for the DSi - let me know. We've got the DS one, but the one in MIL's DSi is slightly different, and doesn't fit in the DS. The two sites MIL gave me to get one have closed down.
(If not, i'll be after you as well Searchie! :D)

Weezl You are the last person I would say was a bit strange! :D

Tia How often do you have to renew? When DS first got awarded, they only gave us a year at a time so we had the forms to look forward to every year. When he was around 7 (I think), they changed the award to last until he's 16. (Or is it 14 - I should check!).
Hugs for doing the forms - I bl00dy hate them, they depress me! :o

Welcome Hammy and congrats on David - he's gorgeous.
Yes, baby clothes are stupidly sized! DD's 6-9 babygrows are far too short for her, but the 9-12 have 10" of spare material flapping at the bottom of the legs. Which is a pita now she's more mobile, she gets all tangled up when she crawls or tries to stand.

NYE We are doing nothing! We'll have something lovely to eat and drink, and see in the New Year together. Luckily, we both hate going out on NYE. Everything is overpriced and packed out, then there is the struggle to get a taxi home, or freeze to death whilst walking!
A few years back my Mum and Dad had DS & DD1 - but we still stayed in! :rotfl:

Dora Hugs hunny - are you speaking to him yet?

Becles Hope you're enjoying your evening out.

Right, that's as far back as i'm going - hope everyone else is ok & happy!

OH is out tonight on his works xmas night out - he's just text to say its a disaster and the restaurant have no record of their booking!

V is fast asleep, Me, DS and DD1 have just had indian takeaway, and are now watching I'm a Celeb.

  • Congratulations Hammy, and Hi David :) Well done on the feeding - how big was he?

    Hi Ladybird,

    Thank you. :D
He was 6 lb 10 born and was 7lb 7 when weighed a few days ago at 2 weeks old
