bt broadband fault

Options
I moved house a few weeks ago and arranged for y broadband to be moved as well. The phone etc was no problem, but still no broadband.I can get broadband here as my neighbours have it.
BT have really messed me about and insist all is now ok although i have tried 3 different modems and 2 routers all show a flashing dsl light indicating no broadband.I have today used a friend s connection and e mailed the bt chief exec who replied personally 25 mins later (yes on a bank holiday)he is in america on business. He has promised to investigate, should i believe him and what else can i do.I pay £27 per month for last 2 years to bt broadband,
Trevor

What speed si your connection, If they have said thast you can get 8 meg and signed you up for that (which they would probable do) and your are too far away from the exchange for that speed, they would take this as a long line issue...This takes 5 (BT) working days to fix.
If you are on 2 meg, same applies. They should regrade your speed to 1 meg or worst case is 512k.

What speed is your neighbours broadband?
Have you reported this to technical helpdesk. If not get this done ASAP, as if they dont fix the fault within 14 days, you are entitled to a refund for each day without BB.

Also 9 times out of 10, changing BB provider does not fix the fault
