any free energy moitors about?

hi, im wondering if there are any free energy monitors on offer? or discounted ones.
the owl type or similar. i would buy one but £40 is too expensive.

    Your eyes, pencil and paper, and a watch are an inexpensive alternative.

    Local libraries offer a monitor for 3 or 4 weeks loan. My parents have one currently, an owl i think. Pop in and ask, it can't hurt!

    Now they rarely use the immersion (at around 50p an hour) and have stopped leaving the oven on to heat the plates while they go and buy takeaway!

    british gas have a free one if your on benefits..

    or if your gran/mam etc recieves any benefits ie pension credit etc then get their details and get a free one
    its on the freebie board somewhere under "£55 worth of free energy saving products"

    You don't need to be on benefits to qualify- just say that there is someone in the household over 75 and hey presto free stuff!

    hi, my nans just been sent a free one from BG, maybe ask around elderly rels/friends if the have one they don't want? ( am presuming they send them to people in receipt of the winter fuel payments )
