Ofgem and npower have been heavily criticised in The Times in the way that npower have overcharged nearly all of their gas customers to the tune of around £156m and Ofgem have miserably failed to investigate it, leaving customers out of pocket.

If you think you were one of the victims and haven't made a claim then go to the last page of the 'npower gas sculpting thread' in the utilities forum to find out how to claim.

Meanwhile, the 'consumer's champion' Martin Lewis' silence on this utter scandal is deafening.

It is to DDs and a couple of other regular contributors to the 'sculpting' thread's eternal credit that this scandal has finally got a wider audience. They refused to give up in the light of many setbacks and should be commended for it. I really really hope both npower and Ofgem get the come-uppance they deserve for this wholly unedifying espisode. Nothing short of head honcho's heads rolling will be enough IMO.Call me Carmine....
