foreign share dealing

Hello,

I am hoping someone on here can help me. My father left some shares to myself and my sister. However some of the shares are listed on the paris stock exchange. I tried to contacct my bank who were no help whatsoever, and then tried to go through my dads work. They put me intouch with what my broken french beleives to be the company in question. after some postal corresponadance i now know there is a little over £1000 worth of shares but i have been unable to transfer them into my name despite sending several probate documents and forms to transfer.

I would like to sell the shares, even though they are in my fathers name i will be able to pay them into the executor account which is still open and withdraw the money that way but i have no idea how to sell these shares.... any ideas??

thanks
