Did anyone get lucky at the Penny Bazaar yesterday? Apparantly, they were queuing from 5am here
I got to my local one at 8.20am and there was only a small queue (It was bedlam by 9am though!)

I got a money box (WOO!! That's what I went for!) card game, notebook, mug and Christmas stocking.

Halifax online won't even load the page this morning, anyone else having issues?
  • I can't get on either, neither through Egg Money Manager or directly. Hope it doesn't stay down too long, I get twitchy if I can't get to my online baking!! :o

    Hi all,

£7 for me today. I've had a couple more of the presents arrive today so everyone is sorted now either on order or recieved, except for the chocolate which I don't trust myself to keep in the house so I'll leave it till the last minute!

Was thinking of going over to Birmingham today for the christmas lights switch on, there's all sorts of bands gonna be there and it sounded really good but apparently they are expecting 40000 people to go there and I can't really be doing with the crowds! Also I'd have only spend loads of money on german food and beer so it's probably just as well!

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Wow, that is one heck of a load of people!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8360313.stm Power disruption at an it centre in Yorkshire has caused the online banking (and cash machine) downtime. Was wondering what was going on when someone said the cash machine in town wasn't working either!

They better hurry up and fix it, im itching to make my pad :o
