    Just 7p today thanks.

Well that's my Vodafone contract now gone. Have now switched to Asda PAYG. I had to buy another phone as the very old one I had was only OK as a stopgap. The savings from not paying line rental etc should pay for it in 3 - 4 months. I've also now given my garage back to the council. I was only storing clutter in it anyway - at a cost of about £9.50 a week. The garage isn't big enough to take my current vehicle anyway.
That's a lot of changes I've made this year and still money is very tight. It makes me wonder how I managed at all before. Well maybe not. The truth is that I didn't manage come to think of it.

    Hi Paul!
Was meaning to ask if you've started doing scratchcards yet?
This month I have made nearly £300 playing free bingo and scratches. It's a nice little earner for a 5 minutes a day of my time. Hope to see you on there soon! ;)

  • A dentist noticed that his next patient, a little old lady, was
nervous, so he decided to tell her a little joke as he put on his
    gloves.

'Do you know how they make these gloves?' he asked.

    'No, I don't,' she replied.

'Well,' he spoofed, 'there's a building in Canada with a big tank
of latex, and workers of all hand sizes walk up to the tank, dip in their hands,

    let them dry,
then peel off the gloves and throw them into boxes of the right size.'

    She didn't crack a smile.

'Oh, well. I tried,' he thought.

But five minutes later, during a delicate portion of the procedure,
    she burst out laughing.

    'What's so funny?' he asked.

'I was just envisioning how condoms are made!'
