Are you selling a mobile phone?
Nigeria doesn't have a postal system so beware as they are all scams.

I had the problem too. Both times it was a scam. The only way I would ever every ship there is if I had got cash in hand from them. Was it a mobile that you had happened to be selling ? :rolleyes:tammyfshr wrote:HI

Yes I had the same problem with scammers but since I put a note on my auctons saying that I would not ship to Nigeria it hasn't happened again, fingers crossed it stays that way because it's a hassle when it happens.Debt at 1/5/09 £21,996 _pale_

I think you've just been lucky, I don't think Nigerian scammers take the trouble to read auctions carefully to find out whether they're permitted to bid
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
A dood way of stopping some rogue bids is to go into MyEbay and in the left hand column under MyAccount is Preferences. In the Buyer requirements bit edit some preferences.0

I think it probably is just luck but if you have a note on your auctions at least they know you are aware of the scams and aren't likely to play along.
