Im looking at a car on ebay and the seller has this below. Now my question is if I buy this car will this be my car and can I get a log book. Do you think there will be any problems if buying this car?

This car is being sold on behalf of a local authority for unpaid parking fines.Permission for the sale of this vehicle has been granted by the local authority.

court warrants can be shown when car is sold……..
THIS VEHICLE WILL SHOW AS ON FINANCE WITH HPI BUT WILL BE SOLD WITH LETTER FROM FINANCE COMPANY SHOWING CLEAR OF FINANCE !!!!!

The car will have been removed from the debtors address by court appointed bailiffs, On behalf of the Local Authority. It will be sold to recoup the debt of the owner.
To get the new logbook you would simply apply for it from the DVLA, And If I remember correctly there is a cost of £25 to do this.War does not decide who is right, It decides who is left.0 -
You will be able to get a log book and you will be the legal owner of the vehicle.

im not sure but one of my friends run a storage/scrap yard and gets the council siezed cars in.. and has sold them on occasion with a full reciept no logbook etc
