    What would they do if the OP's personal credit rating was such (s)he couldn't obtain a credit card?
    There'd be a corporate card in the next post, I'm sure.

    Ironically there's a bit of a hoo-ha where I work because they want to make corporate credit cards mandatory, and we've got used to the benefits of expenses going through our personal cards.

    At my last place they tried that. The finance dept sent out a memo to everyone saying that here would be no cash advances and everyone would be expected to have a corporate card.

    HR had then to send another memo (after some Union pressure) saying that this could not legally be enforced.
  • Get yourself an MBNA Play.com card... 0% on purchases for a while (mine's till April), plus 1% cashback (+15 quid of points for spending your first 150)

    I just bought a Wii fit plus with my points :)
