The software has been tested by Softpedia (so no nasty spyware or viruses) and I always trust them so a false positive here I think. Have to say I highly recommend Avast AntiVirus - always free and top rated.

I would also check out this site that independently checks anti-virus software, however Iobit not on their so is unknown just how well this performs.
