It is a standard item made by a national manafacturer but think the compnay I have bought from don't routinely keep them in. The retailer they have got it from who has delivered it to me is a national company who possibly have bigger stocks. I'm just a bit naffed off really that I've paid someone £250 plus delivery who has then bought it from someone else for £148 and they have delivered it free. I have the invoice from the person who actually supplied it.

I suppose you could say 'thats business'!

And if you had done your research could have bought it in the first place for £148. delivered ;)

You can return under DSR, read my post above again and give your supplier a ring and ask if you can return to local supplier, (if they allow then you can come to a new agreement with them, which may not even require returning, just paying them), or if their T&Cs inform who pays the return P&P, if it isn't mentioned, then they pay it.

I did do my homework and actually the £250 was the cheapest price I could find it for, most places were saying £350 (the retail is £374). The local person who delivered it said they would sell it to us for the £148 as they have supplied my husband with stuff in the past over a number of years.

    Update.

The company have said I can return to the local place and get a full refund. I will then buy from the local place for over £100 less. I thought I was a careful shopper and that the internet gives you lower prices but this time I've been proved wrong. However down to the forums talking about DSR I found out I could return which has meant I still got the best deal.
