some sites wont load

Whats happened to my browser - some sites like this one load up fine but others like facebook and youtube no longer open. Ive not changed anything but now when I try to open these sites the timer shows loading but they never do ! Help !!

    It could be a problem with your ISPs routing or maybe their DNS

    If http://69.63.181.11/ gets you to facebook then it is a dns problem.

    Probably the start point should be to reboot your PC then open a command prompt and try entering

    tracert www.facebook.com

    If the first line doesn't show an IP address then it is DNS otherwise wherever the trace stops the problem is at the next hop. Not every router on the way will respond - mine shows timeouts on the way but works just fine. My times are poor because I have a download running right now.

    Unfortunately there is probably little you can do other than call the ISP and the script monkies will probably suggest you change your filters and reinstall windows as they won't have a clue. Your routing will probably be different anyway

    Did the 1st bit and downloaded 'Spyware' ( did I click the wrong link ?). Says that I have infections but cant see anywhere to get the log from ? Asks me to pay to fix the problem

    Alienrik - thanks for your advise. I thought I'd ( you'd ! ) fixed it as many more sites opened up. But I was gutted to see that there were still some sites that didnt open e.g. betfair.com, netweather.tv etc. Would it be worth posting the log from Malwarebytes. Thanks
