You could search for your post code and see what comes up.

I have just done a search under my postcode and found someone who lives across the road from me who went bankrupt after me this year. It's weird! to think that you never know who is and who isn't BR even if you pass them in the street lol!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

And maybe:
- Town, or part of address.
- BR date.
- Court name.
- Case number.
You can use multiple terms to narrow down the search.
Have a look at one of the entries for someone else, and you will see from the text of that the sort of search terms that might be useful to narrow it down.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I'm not the one being awkward - its the Gazette. I'd gladly forfeit my second entry (and the first come to think of it!!).

sorry to be thick but could you explain how to search by postcode etc.
I can usually figure these things out but can't seem to find a decent way to search on the site
Thanks0 -

input your postcode into the box at the top of the screen marked "search archive" then something should show
