www.ratebuster.co.uk is 1p a min with a bt land line I could not find on virgins site how much a 0844720 number would cost to call.
She could call virgin to see how much a call would cost to that number.
only other bet is an internatonal phone card.0 -

Will she be calling a USA Landline or your UK Mobile.
If she is calling a landline she could use 18185 via their 0808 Freephone number.
SEE: http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php
Note VM charge considerably more then BT to call 0844/0871 numbers.0 -
nice find ypaymore. I never knew that an virgin media landline would be more expensive.0

See http://allyours.virginmedia.com/pdf/uk-nongeographic-calls.pdf and http://allyours.virginmedia.com/pdf/...tober%20V5.pdfTime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
