I don't know about the OP but I would tell the manager to shove it. Job or no job.

The hell should you be 'forced' into anything.

Sometimes the easiest way to keep on the right side of the boss - and we all need to do that at times to save our sanity - is to ensure they and everyone else doesn't lose face,. Being compliant and sneaky rather than agrieved and confrontational can give all concerned an easy ride :D

i am very so so on quitting altogether as they are by far the worst employers ive ever come by.

at the end of the day they pay under minimum wage for hard horrible work

they expect ALOT for nothing and regularly change and drop hours without prior notice

oh and they never actually mentioned that they do not accept holiday between October and December which i think is pure stupidity as i still have holiday waiting that i wanted to take about now.....

avoid them as employers at all cost

  • Definitely go for the allergy to the face paints.... I take it that they are providing costumes and face paints. Health and safety will be crawling all over it!

haha oh no id never advise eating from subway, we have one of the cleaner stores and its diabolical, i dont even take them up on the free sub unless i baked the bread and prepped the meat, so i know exactly where its been and how its been made.

Information on rules regarding holiday have to be provided in writing within two months of the start of employment.

And when does your holiday year end?
