When I worked in a bookies we got annoyed when someone only wanted to do nights or weekends as why should they get preferential shifts and when there's only 5max to a shop its not fair.no night racing in winter months but opening times stil 9-9.30 except for sundays 11-6.and in reference to the person who quit caus of "pressure" of course your expected to be quick and would realise this happens on day one and its not personal when the punter moans at u.would you start blubbering if you worked at asda and someone said the meals are ×××× lol bookies in general get a bad name when peoples perceptions of them are a lot different to what they really are

I'd actually probably prefer through the day but my area is only seem to be looking for eve/wkds at the moment for some reason... which kinda goes against the trend dont u think?

Everytime ive ever been in the bookies its always seemed like a pretty laid back environment, ive never had to queue for longer than 30 secs... and ive never witnessed any forms of aggression either, which is kinda suprising where I live because the place is full of junkies and other lowlifes...
