Ah the lure of the Svenska design.

It's even more admirable not to overspend in Ikea since once they've got you inside the maze of furnishing delights, you can never escape till you get to the end.

  • I have to go to Ikea to buy my glass painting supplies (the glass) but have a nifty trick of getting OH to go for me on his way past! He just pops in and out - impossible!

I am hoping to go in the next 2 weeks to buy a mirror I've saved up for - I am going to remember your story and try and be v. good!

I did this a couple of months ago, and I was so chuffed with myself.

I went for a sheet for a bed we got off ebay, course thier beds are a funny size, needed one cos we had visitors. Got there and purposely didnt pick up a bag at the beginning, and got the sheet only 6.99 :j

However for being so good I treated myself to 2 candle holders for 60p each :D

In fairness i usually spend 70 quid on bits everytime I go , so a 1.20 overspend had me over the moon!!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

That's SO not what I thought you were talking about:p :p:p:p
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
