Stupidly forgot to pick up a snack to take to work this morning, so ended up 40p down for a Twix out of the machine.
Off to the theatre tonight, tickets courtesy of my Dad, so probably £5 needed to cover car parking. Will take a bottle of water for the interval
Should be cleaning/ironing now, but MSE is much more enjoyable!Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
ice cream van showed up just as we finished lunch (pasta and sauce) so I scrabbled around my purse/bag etc for enough for ice creams for everyone - not too hideous £3.00 for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children). Considering I've said no to DS#1 every time he's asked for an icecream off the van for the past 6 weeks AND he's been really really good this weekend.
Although I Spent £40 on petrol Saturday (forgot I had to collect 'rents off hols or coulda left it til tuesday) plus £20 in Tesco yesterday (I only went in for bread and sandwich fillers (meat/cheese), cruised by the reduced shelves and picked up a few bits...as y'do)
Had loads of no spend days last week though :smug:just in case you need to know:
HWTHMBO - He Who Thinks He Must Be Obeyed (gained a promotion, we got Civil Partnered Thank you Steinfeld and Keidan)
DS#1 - my twenty-five-year old son
DS#2 - my twenty -one son0 -
Long time since I last did one of these... still savings as much as I can, though my £8K target for this year has gone due to a trip to the USA this summer. Cheap accomodation, hopefully bargain flights and that though, so still MSE-style...
Right, today I have spent:
£25.00 - Diesel (extra than normal due to work trips - reinbursed at 53p a mile!)
£4.41 - Food (just some bits and pieces to get me through the week)
That's that for now... no incomings today, should have a casino withdrawal coming through, but no sign as yet (it's no biggy, just one of the almost risk-free offers).
I am hoping for a cheap week in the main... we'll see how it works out. Must remember to make lunch everyday!Personal ISA Contributions Challenge - current £0 (as at 1 April 2014) / target £15,000 (deadline 31 Mar 2015)0 -
No spend today...yipppeeee!!! Free dinner to round SIL's..lol.

£2 to make up £12 cost of some new underwear in John Lewis (I had a £10 pigsback voucher).
£1.50 on parking  (Usually park about 3/4 of a mile away and walk in but it was lashing down so I elected to use normal car park.)
£0.85 on a ginger cookie as the parking machine wouldn't take my £10 note (even though it says it takes notes) so I had to get change - fast :mad:Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

**purpleprincess** wrote:Spent £1.40 doing my washing (2 x 70p) but it was budgeted for!:D All now on my airer to dry, no way am I spending money to tumble dry it!!:p
I went to do washing today - went back after 45 minutes to find the machine was broken, so had to shift a load of sodden washing from one machine to another, run back to my room to get another £1.40 for the next machine, and sit by the washing machine for 10 minutes to check it wouldn't explode
So, £2.80 on washing, 66p on treats to encourage me to revise, and 70p on pens for my exam tomorrow.0 -
A no spend day and it's payday tomorrow!0

No spending here, or yesterday! Spent it playing with DD, and cleaning like a mad thing. Plus I've sold an absolute ton of stuff on Amazon this weekend (oh thanks be to the Ebay & The Rest board for helping me shift £70 worth in 2 days!)
PLus I'm all organised for the week, going to have to be, as it's going to be an expensive one - got a leaving do on Saturday, and a date Friday! Loads of stuff cooling ready for freezerThis year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
Current Pay Off Target : £1500 :mad:0 -

Then discovered Sound of Music was on!!!!!:j :j :j :j :j :j so things looked up for a while!!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
