eBay - how can I see the bid amounts before the auction ends?

Hi, I remember some time ago seeing one of you lovely people had put up a way of seeing what the bid amounts are before the auction ends (seem to recall it just involved adding one word into the string), but sadly can't think what it was or find it now in the posts - I'm not my 'best' at this time of night!

I seem to remember it involved changing the .co.uk part of the item bid page address to .com, but that the loophole was closed last year. Unless of course I am wrong and there is another way..... =o)
