You can buy a new one from Screwfix for £99.

Had a look on their website. I need something pretty beefy for the trees I want to shred. I don't think the £99 model would be upto the job. Thanks anyway.

Then try a plant hire firm such as Hewden hire or Builders Merchants with hire departments such as Travis Perkins.They hire them by the day,weekend or week.

I'd be inclined to enquire with your local tree surgery company. Pick the biggest in the area and they'll likely have certain times of the week when they have the plant sitting round and would be able to give you a good price on hiring it from them.
