I received what appears to be the prize from this competition today, but it is neither a DVD or a Jacket, but a 7" Vinyl Collectors edition Soundtrack.

Not a bad prize but I am a little disappointed as it was not what I was expecting after receiving an email stating I had won a DVD and Jacket.

Any other winners receive their prize yet?

I completely apologise for this, There must have been a mix up with the email, you were indeed meant to win just the Vinyl Box set on behalf of Hanbag, (someone was the lucky winner of the jacket and DVD)

Bit of a disappointment really and a shambolic excuse from the promoters for sending the wrong emails out fancy apportioning blame on the postal strike for there own inadequacies

I haven't received my prize as yet but if it is the same as yours I will be making a complaint to the editorial department of handbag.com about the mix up,

you would have thought that after you sent the email and they realized there mistake that they would have as a matter of common courtesy contacted the other prize winners and offered some sort of apology

shame on them! :mad:

It would help if we were able to find the original comp and see what prizes were actually listed. One of the pitfalls of entering hundreds of them I guess.
It is actually a pretty nice box set all with individual 7" singles from the movie soundtrack. I would have at least expected a DVD and the Box Set though. Thing is I don't have a record player so it isn't much use to me.

Oh well such is life.

Do you think I should let Handbag.com know about it?

Only problem is that there wasn't a main prize in the comp that we entered as they have got there competitions mixed up

the prize that they said we where going to receive was from a different comp on another site :mad:

handbag.com need to be made aware of the inefficiency of there PR company which will probably be an independent company hired by handbag .com to distribute the prizes so that future winners in there competitions are not disappointed or inconvenienced again
