Premier Inn /travel-inn in centre of Sheffield ...
looking to make a booking soon to go to City Hall concert .
Their website shows 2 that are both 0.2 miles from city hall...
"City Centre" - angel st/bank street
"City Gate" - St Marys Gate .
Both are same price ... which is the "better " one to stay at .. guess i mean newer/cleaner/quieter/ nearer shops
thanks

I have stayed many times in Sheffield for swimming competitions, the Travelodge in Centre of Sheffield is opposite Ponds Forge international sports centre and about 5/10 mins walk to the Cathedral and town hall, as is the Premier inn although it is marginally closer to town centre. If I were driving I would probably choose the travelodge as the car park is beneath, always manned, you need to swipe your ticket to gain access, well lite etc. The car park at the premier inn is not at close, you need to walk through a wide alley next to argos, as I travel with my kids on my own alot, it can sometimes late at night be not a nice area to walk through, the pub which is near the car park is renowned for fights.
I have also got deals at the Hilton, although it is about 10/15 mins from town centre it is obviously a nicer hotel and the last time I stayed we got a twin bed room with a cooked buffet breakfast for £35 The one hotel I would avoid like the plague is the Grovesnor stayed there once and never again, once was quite enough thank you.Fibro-Warrior0 -
