    Hi Bunny,

    Usually Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are a little cheaper than 4 and 5.
Pickups are generally charged at around a fiver more than drop-off's.

Having done a quick search, the hotel is in W8 and generally speaking, the trip shouldn't cost more than £45 one way, and maybe £40-42 on the way back.

    I've included a link in my signature. They're number is 020 8991 9191.

    A

P.S. Bunny, I should really say that I work for the company I've mentioned but I have honestly done a price search for you too.

I "think" about £30 each way (if its not a people carrier or estate), but I will check it with DH (whos a cab driver).

Must be a prebooked cab from an office, the airport or black taxi will be more.

According to a taxi site - put in the details - it comes out at £73.70 return.

    Hi Julie,

Can I ask which taxi site? Looks like I may have to re-check my prices...

    Thanks,

Cabs from Heathrow airport aren't cheap.
Is it possible to get a train or other public transport instead?

£40 to be picked up at the airport & driven straight to the hotel isn't a bad price.

Son travelling by himself, i would not what him using public transport. Safer option is taxi and even if more exspensive i will budget in other areas to afford the fare. Thanks for the idea,if i was travelling it would be the bus.
