Packard Bell Spares / Repairs

Hi,

My partner has only gone and dropped their laptop breaking the lcd display.:T

I know I can remove the screen and replace it with the same model but im struggling to find a cheap replacement.

Its a packard bell easynote h5

Ive tried ebay to see if I can get a spares or repairs from there but suprisingly theres not much...

Also tried google...

Does anyone have any ideas where I met get a new lcd for this laptop?

These don't seem to stock PB: http://www.lcds4less.co.uk/ but worth asking, as it's likely to be a generic screen rather than one manufactured by PB.

yeh I found that earlier - thats the cheapest at the moment...

There currently:£76.96 + VAT & Del @ £10

I was hopeing to find one on ebay thats broken that I could just reclaim the screen off... but there isnt anything around at the mo...

Do you think thats the cheapest I can get it for?

Seems to be a lot of dropping going on - you all aren't accident prone, maybe?!

youll be very lucky to find a cheap one. lcd screens are always expensive. as are most lappy spares. inc used spares. hence broken laptops still bring decent money.
often makes more sense to sell it for spares and buy another lappy.
