Postage Charges for refunded item! Please help!

I'm looking for some advice so hope someone can help!

My husband ordered a tension band online. The item was £9.99 and he requested next day delivery @ £5.49.

When the item arrived it was faulty so he contacted the company for a refund.

We checked with out bank account and the company had actually charged us £15.94 an addition unexplained 46p.

Also the package was delivered by standard first class post (which is advertised on their website @ £1.99) so again feel like we were overcharged for postage again!

The company have now only refunded £9.99.

I was wondering where we stood with this, especially as the item was faulty and we were overcharge?

Thanks in advance

Ceri & Matt
