£3490 for what is almost a 6 year old Hyundai sounds expensive, even taking into consideration the low mileage - what was the original price new??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Sounds about £1500 too much, have you tried Toyota, Honda or even Ford focus.
Lots of Focus around, a popular 2nd hand choice.

Its definitly overpriced.
Would be looking for at least £500 off that before you even start considering it. I would be concerned about the low mileage. My Guess is it has belonged to an OAP and hardly been used. Can mean it needs servicing brought up to date etc. No mention of service history
A look at valuations suggest it is about 1k overpriced for a standard car with standard mileage so even accounting for the low mileage think its a rip off.0 -
When I worked for a construction company in Ireland 3 years ago we bought oldish Accent 1.3s for the site engineers due to the very adverse conditions some of them had to endure (not least being driven by Germans;)) and not wanting to ruin 'expensive' cars on sites.
I got to drive a couple of them.
Simple and quite mechanically robust cars with modest performance but tinny bodies and flimsy interiors. Noisy over long distances. I agree with the comment about low mileages not being the best for vehicles.0
