how do i get firefox to remember passwords

I have beem using IE but recently installed firefox .
I cant get firefox to remember passwords or my username for this site .
everytime I login I tick the remember password box but it dosent work .

sorry tried that and it was set up to remember passwords but it didnt work .
Still cant get it to work

Is it that it won't remember any passwords?

Some sites tell it not to remember for security (Yahoo do that, as do banking sites)

Try, Tools> Options>Privacy>Saved forms and tick the Save infomation I enter in forms and the search bar box.
