Slight problem with eviction being most councils tell you to stay put rather than move out voluntarily, as otherwise it damages your chance of a council place. Not sure I want to be left liable for someone in that situation, as I have no idea what other charges the LA could throw at me :(

The money will be there on the 5th apparently, which is actually the due date. I am concerned that now I have no idea what is paid when, as when it came from my account I could see everything. However at least now if the money isn't there on the correct day she gets the charges, and its a few weeks before anything affects me. Still not happy about things, but I have too much on my plate at the moment. Come the summer I think I need to be out of this, but for now at least personal damage is limited a bit more.
  • I hope she is commited to the eductation route she is going down. She sounds alot like my younger sister and if she is she changes her plans at the cost of everyone else quite frequently and I am guessing you will be asked to bail her out if this ends up being the case!

Do your parents not get involved/are they around to help her out? (sorry not sure of your ages)

I know how you must feel, my little sister is in a similar situation and it has got to the stage where I will not help anymore as she does not learn anything as she always get bailed out - plus you get no thanks whatsoever for it!!

I hope you manage to sort something.

I'm sorry to be harsh but I'd tell your sister she moved the goal posts so its up to her to find somewhere else to live. This is eventually going to affect you and your ability to get credit, so its either face the music now whilst you have a credit rating or later when you don't.

Or you sister could postpone going back to education so that the goal posts are moved back to when you started this.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Definitely the time for sitting her down and telling her how it is. Just be prepared for the inevitable 18 gallons of tears and "how could you, my own brother, do this to me?" guilt trip lines .
