I tried the outfit on her last month and it was fine, just. But over the school hoildays she has obviously had a big growth spurt. She is only 7 now and the outfit was bought for age 8,but she has grown really fast inside just a month and is a dress size 9 or maybe 10 now and her feet have shot up 2 sizes!!!I bought her dress ages ago,it s a BHS Luciana in white, covered in little pearls and with a full net tulle skirt, all white.Shoes I bought too big for her to grow into also and they fitted her nicely last month, well 3 weeks ago,but they are suddenly a size too small.I ma glad I tried the outfit on her again with her hairband etc before we left or we would be really stuck but this is bad enough. We leave saturday mornign for the wedding venue so I only have tomorrow to find something else for her.Can anyone help me find something, shops in Glasgow or anywhere in ayrshire we could get to to buy a suitable dress and shoes.HELP!

Oh my gosh, id be having kittens. Poor you
How about Debenhams? or head back to BHS?
Not sure what else to suggest
Ooh dont Monsoon do young bridesmaids dresses aswell?
Good Luck!!What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
Thanks.I really didnt think she would grow so fast just like that, took me by surprise as I had bought bigger sizes to alow room for growth.
I found the perfect replacement dress online ,a pierce fionda one at debenhams and they have it in age 9 and age 10,but it says 2-3 days delivery so may not get here in time.
We have ordered both sizes and are keeping our fingers crossed.I am also going to call any debenhams store within travelling distance tomorrow and search for it to buy tomorrow too incase the web order doesnt come in time.We could end up with too many dresses but I would rather that than none.
Shoes,Its not wedding season and everywhere has changed their stock to xmas party stuff already,no wedding pumps to be seen. Will try the big stores in Glasgow tomorrow.I was meant to be going for my beauty treatment tomorrow but this is more important.

Thanks hunnycat.I will call them this morning when they open, also calling debenhams to searhc for one I saw online.Fingers and everything else crossed.
DD is off school sick today(hope its just a 24 hr thing!) so I am lucky to have mum and OH at the other end of a phone ready to swoop in and buy as soon as I locate one."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
There is the debhnalms in ayr the debenhams in Braehead, Glasgow and Springburn. I thinm there is also a debenhams in East Kilbride?

I found a lovely pearce fionda flowergirl dress online, called up to check stock and and luckily they had one left in the size I needed in one of the glasgow shops so my angel of a mum went out shopping for me and she even bought a pair of matching shoes the debenhams staff had set aside too.
Oh managed to buy the other stuff I was meant to get out and buy today at a big shopping centre.
I missed my appointment for all my pre wedding beauty treatments today too as DD is ill but I phoned my make-up lady to see if she knew anyone close to the venue who could do it and it turns out she can do everything I need so all the last minute problems have been sorted out now.
Everyone has just checked in and told me they got everything on my lists. Its been a long day for me and an even longer one for everyone else who has been doing the running around shopping for me.
Poor mum had her own last minute shopping to do today and ditched that to go on the flowergirl dress hunt instead,so I dont know what it was she was meant to be doing today, she wouldnt say, but thank you mum!!!
Bridesmaid decided she doesnt really like her shoes(niece),tough! No more time to shop so they will have to do now."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -

Both kids are sick now so I dont think we will be able to leave for the venue tomorrow as planned,it will be a shame not to be able to have our whole week at the castle but just as long as we can get there for the wedding on Thurday it wont matter too much."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0
