For our next family holiday abroad we want something a bit different from our ususal hotel/self catering holiday. The idea of a cruise sounds good but how suitable are cruises for families? Can anyone recommend a med cruise company that would be suitable for families with children aged 3 and 8 years?

cruises are the best thing families can do.you can spend as much or as little time with kids as you want. you can dine with them or make alternative dining arrangements.there are kids clubs if you want to use them.there are entertainments for all. you can get off the ship at a different port most days or you can stay onboard and utilise the tremendous facilities.if anyone is ill there is a ships dr. everthing is controlled and safe.you can hire child minder for a special evening together.i couldnt recommend p+o and carnival and princess enough for the way kids are made special.just do it and all other holidays will pale in comparison.

yep OV they even have kids excursions or you can leave them in the kids club while you do a trip and its free
