Links for sale?

I've noticed Ebay are doing a crackdown on people selling links and information on ebay, but some of it actually interests me......

For example (i havent bought any of these, definently not the one i'm about to mention) there's a link for sale in which the seller tells you the link for a 3GHz laptop which is for sale in PC world for under £199 including VAT.....surely this isn't correct...PC World dont do laptops that cheap? The person is selling the link for £29.97, a teensy bit excessive!

Does anybody know where these people get their information from?

lol Thanks, Mark

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.
  • Yeah, that's what I was thinking but the person said that they offer full refunds if the link doesn't work AND they had positive feedback for the same listing!

Have they only sold it once before? If so, perhaps it was a friend that 'won' and left positive feedback to give the seller more credibility. I don't know, I could be wrong. I'm always cynical about such things.

My advice to you would be don't waste £29.97 on a link to a so-called cheap laptop, you'll probably be disappointed. Also, be very careful about buying any laptop on eBay.

I'd stay off eBay for your own safety until 18. Nothing personal; it's just that you'll have no protection at all if it goes wrong.

I used to sell laptops on eBay. I don't anymore as there's no profit in it these days. When 18 buy from the big companies there (HP, Tier 1 etc.) and you'll be fine. Otherwise, buy from Comet online.
    Can I help?
