in Credit cards
Just want you and anybody who reads this to be aware of a type of scam that I got entangled in.I joined a cash back site called cashback.co.uk back in March site gets you to open up credit cards, and policies with the intention of being paid cash for it.I opened up a couple of credit cards and a life insurance. The site was meant to pay you after you earned over £25 pound .Well I had a total of £52 ,but they accused the life insurance of not paying them and that they couldnt pay me.I looked in to it and wrote a letter to the site telling them that they were breaking there breach of contract, but got no reply. The life insurance then said that they paid cashback.co.uk,so i emailed casback.co.uk to confirm it and sent my letter from the life insurance ,but again no reply. The only way of contacting or getting a reply from cashback.co.uk is via helpdesk .Now conveniently they are ignoring me.I put a complaint in to trading standards to find out that they are not backed up with fsa etcetra.so therefore can make up there own rules.Dont know if anybody as actually had cash paid to them or a similar experince to me.They obviously make up there own rules as they go along and.Beware they are a unprofessional con artist Beware of them!!

Cashback sites like quidco and such put into their terms and conditions that cashback is not garunteed.
My advice would always be that it's a great idea to use a cashback site, but only for a purchase you are going to make anyway, if it happens to be eligible for an offer on a cashback site.
That way, if it pays out, bonus, if not, no biggie
Sorry to hear about your experiences, perhaps some cashback sites are better at hiding their "not guarunteed" terms than others...Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
