OK I'm not but I've had a Sunday afternoon brainwave! :idea:

You know the saying "one mans junk is another mans treasure" or whatever it is! Well how about having a board where you can offer your "unwanted" goods to a good home for no cost?

I know that Freecycle is quite popular and would be similar to that but for the MSE community!

I understand that their could be complications, ie postage, peoples privacy, but hey I haven't though that far ahead! :rolleyes:

Or maybe even like a swap shop sort of thing! I'm willing to start the ball rolling by offering a used pack of post-it notes. In return I'm looking for a brand new XBOX 360. Preferably with a game!

But in all seriousness, I've not given it much thought but the idea popped into my head as I had a walkometer/pedometer thingy to give away which I was just gonna chuck (has been claimed btw)!

So what does everyone think?

I go to boot sales, Scouser, and do Freecycle, which recommends local give-aways, and go to the local auction, and charity shops, and the recycling centre and read Friday Ad, and the classified in the local free paper...just don't have the time even for EBAY.
Freecycle is the way to go and SETS (skills exchange trading system)is worth a look.
