Packaging or no Packaging that is the question!

Hello

I read probably on here somewhere that a couple of people take the toys they have brought their children out the packaging, insert batteries and wrap them so they are ready to play with as soon as they are unwrapped.

With 4 children all demanding help to get their toys out of the packaging and batteries put in i cant believe i ddint think of this before BUT i forgot and have now wrapped all the presents in the packaging

How do you all wrap - with or without the packaging?

Most of it without, I also have 4 children and it makes it a lot easier if they can just open it and start playing! If something is a really awkward shape then I will leave it in the box just to make it easier to wrap.

Always make sure that the batteries are there, once we did a mad dash on boxing day to get the batteries that had been forgotten and what a nightmare it was to find the correct ones:eek: never again, as soon as the toys are bought batteries go in the wrong way so they don't waste ready for xmas day and as for the packaging well if it is huge and a nightmare to wrap that goes also, whatever is easiest for the day to go as smooth as possible, there is nothing worse than edgy over excited kids that can't play with their new toys:rotfl::rotfl:

I am going to remove the internal packaging if possible for the boxed items so all my DD has to do is open the box and start playing. The tricky ones are those entombed in plastic, they are nightmare to get into!
