1st class took 2 weeks

had a buyer contact me asking if id sent the item. COP showed posted 18 may 2006. think i posted about this the other day didnt i?

well it finally arrived yesterday. it was a large item and she paid 6 quid first class which is how i sent it. the amount of time it took is outrageous. is it worth complaining to royal mail?

I had a similar experience with something I sold - again, sent first class and took a fortnight to arrive - when I phoned Royal Mail customer services to complain, after the poor buyer had waited over a week, they said that I should allow at least 14 days from date of posting for the item to be delivered before filling in their "missing mail" form, or whatever it's called...I thought that was appalling....especially first class...big raspberrry to Royal Mail i say.
