Not sure if this is where to post this query, but if anyone can help, it would be most appreciated.
I bought a Traveler Digital Camera DC-5080 from Aldi's just before Easter. It looks the part, and takes the photo's fine, in fact I think it's great. But I've unfortunately misplaced the box with the re-charger, tripod, instructions etc. (we're in the middle of decorating and things are all over the place:o ) and I'm wondering if I can use any other re-charger (ie mobile phone) as the battery looks very similar. Other than that, does anyone know if you can buy replacements? Ive ordered a card to hold photos on so once I get that I (hopefully) will be able to put that into the laptop to down load photos but I've got a few on the camera memory I don't want to lose so daren't let the camera die!
I'm off on holiday next week and if anyone can help me before that I would be very grateful.
Thanks.
(ps I am frantically tidying up and searching for the original meanwhile:D )

Not a good idead to use an alternative charger as it may not be the correct voltage or polarity.
You should be able to download the pictures that you have taken onto your PC by using the USB cable (in the box that you have lost), alternatively you can copy these pictures across to the memory card when you get it where they should be safe.
Your best bet is to find the missing box ASAP! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
on the side of the camera where you would plug in the charger should be a picture with the polarity if the voltage and polarity of another charger is the same then you will be OK,0

Silly boy!
:rotfl:
It's the output voltage and polarity that is important, not the mains!
