Have already posted a thread about this in the insurance section of the forum so wont repeat my post here.. But!! I managed to reduce our annual home insurance policy by £420 today!! Which equates to a saving to us of £35 pm!!

so for November I'm going to include this in my challenge as it feels as if someone has just given me £35 cheque! As im hoping to use all the money I earn from this challenge to go towards my debts, from December onwards I'll increase my snowballing amount by £35 but for just this month i'd like it in my monthly challenge total! Am i allowed?!!? :D

I have taken an unused tin of paint back to B & Q today, just within its 90 day refund time. It has been sitting in the cupboard for ages and I would never normally take anything back! So another £10 to add to my total. I've decided to only add money actually paid into my account, so although I've made money on my daily clicks I won't add them untill they become payable and I've transferred them. Feeling very positive about this. Hope it lasts!:j

I plan to look down the side of the settee tomorrow and see what I can find (hopefully not sticky toffess and a pile of biro's !)

    hi Suzywuzy (and all)

I have about £20 worth of Euros in a Jar - how did you go about deciding where to exchange them into sterling? or did you just go to your local branch?

I'm not sure if i should exchange them now at the bank or post office- or wait for rates to change??

any advice would be most appreciated :)

  • Hi Turia

TBH we are keeping them because of the exchange rate and we are going away next year so we'll use them then.

I've included them in my total as they had been on my OH's bedroom drawer at his dad's house - he's lived with me for 3 years! So we sort of "found them"

I believe you get charged for changing them back for the £20 you have I wouldn't change them over unless I wasn't going away again but it's up to you. Monies money

I know what you mean, they've been in a small box on a shelf for nearly a year and half!! We keep them there and tell ourselves we'll need it if we travel this year.. lol obviously we havent.

Its the charges that you mentioned that I'm worried about - no use changing it if a big chunk disappears :) This is what i'm finding difficult - finding out what the fee will be for the exchange!

Good luck with your target!! my ebay items are failing me!! grr it seems my clutter really is just clutter!! :)
