Hi there
My fiancee has bought a 2008 Fiesta Zetec Blue and the dashboard is blue - is there companies that will respray the dash or can you buy a new black dash - this would help make the inside better.
any advice appreciated

Sure; just go to Ford and buy a new dashboard. It will cost.
Hope your fiancee isn't reading this he might decide the cheaper option in the long term will be to get a new fiancee.
If my OH suggested this she would be wearing the dashboard...lol0 -

why did he buy this one? theres millions of fiestas for sale im sure. could he not have bought one with a normal dash?
he could just change the car.
swapping dashboards isnt a nice job to do.
as a side note i quite like the fiesta with the matching red dash and seats....work permit granted!0 -
My OH has that too, it makes no sense at all, most is black with silver (which looks boring but nice) then this hulking great blue bit around the dash, I wasn't with him when he bought it!
It will be a pig to get out for painting or switching, with connections left right and centre, to change the matrix for the internal heater requires removing quite a bit of the dash and thats an 6-8 hour job minimum and it will never go back right with squeaks and noises all the time so would guess about the same plus painting time (plastic is a nightmare to paint too)
Suggest you either;
* live with it - I do and you do notice it less as time goes by
* sell/swap the car
* start buying lots of pine fresh trees and fluffy dice to disguise it! :rotfl:0 -
Buy one of the indelible black marker pens."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Why not leave it blue, makes a change from the millions of boring cloned cars out there driven by the millions of equally boring cloned people.0
