There seem to be a lot of charities that take mobiles for "cash" reward but I can't find any that will give mobiles to people that need them. Is it just too expensive or something or do any exist?

Many women's refuges will be happy to accept a donated mobile phone, also spare SIM cards

Thanks for the suggestions, I looked up the worth of a working phone I have and out of three websites only one said it was worth anything at all and the other only £1 ! It makes more sense if it's possible to give the phone to someone who could use it.
