ok i have searched the forum and i have a similar problem that zziggi had a little while ago, now ive tried doing all the things that were suggested but with no luck... there are 2 parts to my problem.
i have a nano and have via itunes subscribed to a couple of podcasts. 2 of them i got last year and now dont want and i thought that i deleted them ( i think i decided to keep the files rather than sent to recycling which is where the problem lies.) but although the files arent showing in my library, the podcasts are still on my ipod. i found them actually on a file list yesterday which i was unable to access or alter as it was in my ipod on the source section. the ist was showing in a light grey colour. in this list all of the names have a box with a tick inside apart from the 2 that i was trying to get rid of. so basically is there away to access this list so i can try and permanently get rid of these podcasts?
my second problem is when trying to subscribe to a new podcast via itunes the podcast is showing as downloaded and i can play it on the computer but it wont tranfer onto the ipod....
i havent got a clue what im doing a i dont understand technical stuff particularly well. so any replies please keep it very basic!!!
any help would be greatly appreciated!!!:o

The option to sync podcasts with itunes is seperate from other music
Select Preferences from Edit menu
Then under the Ipod tab you should be able to choose whether you want to sync.
You could see if changing these options help0 -
OH MY GOD. i so shouldnt be allowed to use electronic equipment.....
that seemed to do the trick. having the ipod plugged in when using the edit screen obviously helps...!:o
