Help I have paid for 2 death benefit policies - can I reclaim?

Oh I am an utter idiot! just finally got round to reviewing my outgoing payments and I have been paying for 2 separate death benefit policies since 2005 :mad: so annoyed with myself for not checking earlier..

Now I wonder is there any way I can claim any of them back? as presumably they both wouldn't have paid out if I died??

If anyone knows (or knows where I can find out) I would be so so grateful!

Why would'nt both of them pay out? If you did today and you had two death cover, they would pay out. No life cover is connected to anything unless it is placed in trust.

You can have as many life policies as they want.
So they would have paid out and you cannot get a refund for your mistake.
