We looked at a Citroen c3 outside a garage that we liked? Underneath the seals you could see red paint like the car had been touched up or something?
What could this mean cars dont come off the garage forecourt like that for sure?

Im thinking of asking the garage owner wonder if he will give me an honest answer? Would you be wary? Im also going to ask for a fsh if it has one?

do you mean sills? and what colour is the car overall,if in doubt get a full hpi check done before going any further

Probably had parts resprayed, bad job as well if they haven't masked it off properly. If it were me I'd leave it alone, nothing worse than bad paint on a reasonably new car.
Plenty of used cars for sale, wait for the next one.
