Egg Anniversary deal

I've just gone to the Egg site to arrange my anniversary balance transfer only to discover that the offer has gone. In the past it's been great as I could transfer from the card not only to other cards but direct into my bank account so used it to pay a few other things off. I then paid the card off before the interest free period was up.

Am now panicking as I was relying on this to pay my tax in January as well as a couple of other things! Is there any other transfer scheme which would pay into my ordinary bank account?

MBNA accept transfer to bank account at promotional rates (4% fee though).
