HI I had a card as my friends 2nd card so IMO it doesnt have to be your spouse cos we had different addresses. We just split the menbership costs. She isnt a memeber anymore and I know have an additional card on my brothers card which cost £13 for the year.

For us we buy washing powder, cereal (£4 for 2 huge 1kg boxes), mince (when they do the £3 off voucher), potato scones (£1.19 for 24!) plus loads of other bits and bobs. The kids book deals are fab as you get 10 price marked at £6.99 for £10 etc.

You can go and look around if you say you are thinking of joining.

They run voucher books that last for 4 weeks for a number of deals.

I too share membership with a friend at differnt addresses.
I would recommened the meat too but also the veg. I buy a big bag (about 5kg) of onions for £2.99 and it lasts me for about 2-3 months. I just keep them in a cool dry cupboard. I use onions in all my cooking and they work our expensive from the supermarker. Their bag of 6 peppers are ussually about £2.99 (compaire to Tesco 69p each) . I also find their frozen fish very good- salmon, haddock.
If you can share membership I'm sure you will find it worth it
