Changing from sky + box to set top.

Hi,
Want to sell my sky + box - but it's currently being used in my living room as the receiver.
Have a spare set top box and card from when I had multi-room.
So, if I disconnect plus box, do, I just connect the settop and put in the same card? Or , Is there something else I have to do.
