Wheel sizes for rover metro

Hope someone can help here.
My daughter has a Rover Metro (F reg - 1987) with metric wheels. She needs new tyres & we are unable to find any. We have found a set of wheels with tyres which are 155 65 13. Hers are 160 65 315. Will the first set of figures be ok with her second ones?

Many thanks,

Suzi xx

I suggest she fits the same size tyres as she currently has.

    315mm is about 12.5".

160/65R315 tyres are available - google for them if your local tyre supplier cant source them

... or get some original wheels.

Not all metro wheels are interchangeable. Some have 95.25mm pcd (distance across stud holes) and some have 100mm. The 13inch tyre size has a rolling diameter 4% bigger than the original, just over the 3% advised but shouldn't cause too much hassle. You will be going slightly faster than your speedo currently shows. The best bet is to find exactly which model / year the wheels came off of and post on one of the metro forums for some good advice.
