please any feedback about this car hire company i am thinking of hiring from gerona airport this july

Brilliant ,I use them in Spain,no problems,get a quote online ,confirm ,pay on arrival with credit card,they include insurance,which is good ,any bumps or scrathes are covered,they use different car hirers,and the cars are first class.I go no where else ,they are cheap ,perhaps the cheapest,but good and reliable,and you know what you are getting

I too have used them & found them v good. Warning - don't choose a big car, pick the smallest you could manage with - they always seem to upgrade you!

We have used them several times and apart from a ropey Hyundai at Malaga last year, have been very pleased.
Another good way to get an upgrade is to ask for a diesel as they are usually bigger cars.
They are quite relaxed on their return policy, and my husband loves coasting along on vapour to make sure we return the car as empty as possible!

I have used car jet twice, both in malaga. 1st time we had booked the very cheapest and got upgraded to an Alfa 1.6 which was really good value.

Staff are very good, website was easy to use and I would definately use them again.

Yep, another very satisfied customer here (in Spain)! However, as noted above, Carjet are only brokers. The actual supplier companies have varying standards. Note the 'all-inclusive' insurance actually excludes wheels, tyres and glass (sometimes also locks). This is not unusual and these can usually be covered with an extra payment of c10-15EUR per hire when you collect the car.

Other comments have said Carjet may not be the most price competitive outside Spain and Portugal. In fact, their quotes for Madrid and Barcelona have been thought to be high too.

Have used them several times, great prices, booster seats included extra drivers too and no excess, apart from glass and tyres as mentioned in the previous post.

Having said that, their customer services is not so good in my experience. I was charged twice for a rental,with Auriga in Murcia, booked with Carjet. Eventually got through to CJ on the phone, didnt get much joy,although I would say it was Auriga being awkward, rather than Carjet my bank eventually refunded the money as a "goodwill" gesture after about a year!!

Hi, we've used them a couple of times and have just booked via them again for June. They're a great company - competitive prices and good customer service.

Daughter used them in Spain (Alicante) last year. Said they were very good - price on the net when they booked was what they paid. No pushing extras when they collected the car. Car was "keyed" whilst they had it - no problems, or charges ! when they returned it.

You also have to pay for a full tank of fuel, they quoted me 74 euro:eek:

Car Kangoo/belingo simular £153+ fuel charge= 11 day hire,
Record Car hire £157, asked if they price match, they came back with a quote of £127:cool: , used them earlier in the year, no problems.

ps, when i handed the keys back, i found a 50 euro note on the floor:j

Thank goodness you found my 50 Euro note! I must have left it in the car when I returned it. I will PM you my address.
